A system that stores and analyzes signals from different sensors. The system uses a hardware component that connects to a computer using a USB interface, and interfaces signals of different kinds (some even remote, using an RF link). The system uses simple .Net software to analyze the signals online, and to preform different kinds of tasks according to the signals. The system was built in a part of a "Smart Home" project.

Stepper motors (also called step motors) are electronic motors that offer precise rotation control . Stepper motors are very precise (an average stepper motor can turn in about 0.9 to 1.8 degrees in each direction) and in a relatively high rotational speed. Stepper motors can be found in various types of hardware components: printers (the printer head moves left and right by using a stepper motor), scanners, computer hard disks, and so on.

In this project we created a baby cry detection (recogniton) device. The device can recognize baby-cry while ignoring other sounds like human speech, music, and so on. The project consists of several phases, among them are research, a development of a unique digital signal processing algorithm, software development, physical creation of the circuits, physical creation of the device, and quality assurance tests. The device was built for a customer, as a part of a patent appeal that involves the detection of baby-cry.

This circuit can program any MicroChip processor - from 6 pins to 40 pins processors. The programmer supports: PIC12,PIC16,PIC18,dsPIC24 ,dsPIC30 families, and uses an ICSP header thus not requireing to remove the PIC from the circuit each time it needs to be programmed.
