A system that stores and analyzes signals from different sensors. The system uses a hardware component that connects to a computer using a USB interface, and interfaces signals of different kinds (some even remote, using an RF link). The system uses simple .Net software to analyze the signals online, and to preform different kinds of tasks according to the signals. The system was built in a part of a "Smart Home" project. System capabilities: - Gather data from 8 different analog sensors, store the data, and display the data graphically on the computer screen.
- Gather discrete data from 8 different inputs.
- Control up to 8 different outputs straight from the computer (can be used to operate up to 8 sub-systems)
- Simple USB interface that uses a serial connection. Supported under Linux and Windows.
- The software allows to set different kinds of actions in response to signal data which is received. For example, the system can issue an "Air Condition On" command when the temperature sensor input level is over 30 degrees Celsius
